24 Hours: Mardi Gras: 19:00

7pm. Had to go back to the R Bar for a little bit. Can almost feel this thing ending.
Outside though the folks have no clear vision of the end.
Back on Frenchman again, no slow down yet.
Everyone loves fire.
A little Brazil representation.

I'M RICK JAMES!

24 Hours: Mardi Gras: 17:00

5pm. So freaking tired. But Amy Winehouse can party all night.
Zach on the attack.
Steve and one of his many faces.

Chicken
Save the Cheerleader, save the world.
Humberto and his bones.

24 Hours: Mardi Gras: 16:00

4pm. The music and dancing won't stop on the streets, this day seems to last forever. I take another 5 Hour Energy drink and try to keep on truckin'.

Inside The R Bar I run into Simon as The Greatest American Hero. Except he's from South Africa.

24 Hours: Mardi Gras: 15:00

3pm. I'm ready to crack at this point. Getting very tired. Here Mark poses with Zach and Christine.
Ryan is a nerd.
Mark makes ugly faces behind Glen at the R Bar.
Timmy shows up as Eco-Elvis...Vegan Las Vegas!
Karl says hi to Tim.
A rare picture with me.

24 Hours: Mardi Gras: 07:00

7am. Feeling alright still. Starting to really tire of this whole thing though. I know there is much more too come. St. Charles avenue has been filled all night with campers waiting for the parades to start. The sun has come up and more of them are up and moving. A lot were up all night.
Taking a walk around I saw this FEMA trailer. I guess whoever lives here is making the most of things.
Inside The Avenue Pub I run into Christie, Judd, and someone who I only met that morning and can no longer remember.

24 Hours: Mardi Gras: 06:00

6am. Had to take this photo from my car so it didn't come out very well at all. This is in front of Miss Mays, 0r The Club, or what ever the hell you want to call it.

24 Hours: Mardi Gras: 05:00

5am. That is The Avenue Pub.
I walked on down the street and went to Igor's. Inside burgers were being ordered by many. Coffee also seemed popular. Fuel for the coming day.
Don't be fooled though, plenty of drinks were being ordered as well. Scottish Brian was back working at Igor's after a hiatus. All the tourist that he hates were very "happy" about that.

24 Hours: Mardi Gras: 04:00

4am. I'm at Lucky's on St. Charles. This, for some reason, is the only picture I took while in the place. I guess I got caught up in talking to Travis and just forgot about the time. So it's a bad picture, but it is what it is.

24 Hours: Mardi Gras: 03:00

3 am, still at the Half Moon. I don't know who Jose is sending a text message to at this hour but it's a bit ridiculous. The bar should be emptying out soon. Adam is bar tending and I'd say he was a bit messed up at this point.

24 Hours: Mardi Gras: 02:00

I don't know who this guy is but he was wearing a jacket made of Crown Royal bags, so was his crown. This was also at the Half Moon in the 2am hour.

24 Hours: Mardi Gras: 01:00

1 am. Debbie came into town with Simon, who I haven't seen up to this point. They called and convinced me to go to the Half Moon. So off I went. By the way that isn't Simon, it's Mark.
